This ancient art of finding directions, reading and interpreting coordinates and deciding the bearing it has become a very popular activity both for team building events and recreational tours. The patagonian landscape is utmost ideal for the development of this kind of activities. Its geography with so different topographies is mostly interesting for compass and GPS navigation. Orienteering is a challenging, exiting and fun activity which does not requires previous experience. Our team gives the participants a short lesson about the use of the compass and GPS (Global Positioning System) but the team learn as they go. Planning, measuring and deciding the bearing, the teams acquire a great precision. They start with easy tasks and the difficulty gets greater as they advance trekking through valleys and mountains through non- traditional trails. This activity perfectly combines with the other adventure activities through out the route.
